I like having only the one main element, the lamp in focus. At a quick glance this seems a simple photo but the many elements all fit together very well. The use of DOF is really good.

Nice mood.

Highlights could be slightly brighter without taking away from the mood.

The composition could be improved. Right now the shape hat's "leaving" the photo on the right edge throws off the balance. It should be incorporated better or the composition should focus on a better angle of the main lamp post.

I think this photo has great potential but would need more refined post-processing. It's a bit too dingy and dirty. The whites should be brighter. The concentric circles must go, black specks should be cloned, and the bottom right is a large area which lacks any detail or an interesting element. That being said, I do enjoy the Downtown English mood of the photo. I find myself searching for Jack the Ripper.

thx for crits. i agree a bit with a composition but i couldn't take another angle since i was standing on a bridge-there was no way up or down. i disagree about whiter whites tho. it wasn't bright there and the fog added to it, it's meant to be extremely dark photo.
